Right, provided all goes well I have around ten more weeks till the arrival of this dragon baby and like any modern day couple we've decided to take a weeks vacation before I'm no longer allowed to board a plane.  Yes, its 'babymoon time'!!!  Looking up the definition on wikipedia the term babymoon is now a term used to describe 'a vacation taken by a couple that is expecting a baby in order to allow the couple to enjoy a final trip together before the many sleepless nights (eeek!) that usually accompany a newborn baby'.  Ok, strictly speaking, we're no longer just a couple but a couple plus My Little Muse so I guess we're off on our very own babymoon plus One Little Muse!  My Little Muse already has his bucket, spade and water gun ready and packed!

A part and parcel of motherhood, the tantrums are just ‘a stage’ – and one that you need to keep your sense of humor with you to maintain that cool-calm-collected mummy attitude. Personally, I am getting myself prepared for their appearance as MLM is still in his terrible twos…  and all I can do is brace myself!
That’s one of the reasons I dig the Little Green Radical’s tee-shirt collection – with their apt slogan tee-shirt “I recycle my tantrums” just perfect for the 2-3 year olds.
We love a fun tee-shirt, especially one that reminders us that this is all pretty amusing (and to keep the video recorder handy – as it is also perfect 21^st speech material)!  The Little Green Radical collection also includes ‘Wind Farm’ and ‘I only Eat Organic Chips’ tees, perfect for that tongue-in-cheek present. These cute slogans on the super-soft cotton always create a comment and a giggle when MLM wears’ his – he’s completely oblivious though – which makes it all the more amusing.

The gals at ELLY LOVES have brought out a handful of new dresses in their ever popular 'Wonderland' and 'Twinkle' styles but in NEW prints!! MyLittleMuse.com has chosen five of its favourites for the store and can't wait to share them with you.  I must say my favourite is the 'Starling White' design which is super fresh and ever so pretty! I sold a couple of the new dresses from the new collection to a friend of mine who raves about these dresses.  The 'Twinkle dress in blue peonies' from the last collection has become a staple 'uniform' in her daughters wardrobe - due to the classic print and easy to wear design.  I must say my friend was as excited as I was at seeing this new collection - and I really hope you are too....happy shopping!!!!

This will be my third Chinese New Year spent in Singapore and I simply can't wait!  I love the festivities, the ceremony, the food and lights. It definitely gives you something to look forward to following the end of the Christmas period.  If only we had this type of celebration back in the UK where, once Christmas is over, the continued miserable weather starts to depress you and the only thing you have to look forward to is the beginning of Spring!  At least we don't have to worry about the weather here in Singapore.
To join in the festivities, and given that I've just found out that My Little Muse will definitely be receiving a little Dragon sister in May I thought it only apt to celebrate with these super cute cheongsams for your little muses.  I've already put one aside for my bun in the oven!

So one of the reasons I was so compelled to start MyLittleMuse.com was the kid’s boutiques I frequented in New York while I was living there.
At the time, I didn’t have kids.

That didn’t stop me.  I used to go CRAZY.  Ok maybe I was a little bit broody, and I did have a godson that I could always spoil some more, but I just loved buying kids clothing. 

I lived in the West Village and had to walk down Fifth Avenue... and that was the start of my love affair with funky kids gear.

I now love having MLM in small brand designs – something you don’t see every kid in, and something with a wee bit of personality – just like the Organic Zoo range.

This is a new range that has just come in – and it is very cool.
